Chapter 3: Jack the Ripper, Part 1

Sebastian's POV~
At the Phantomhive manor~~

"Wake up Master," I said as I filled his tea cup with some Earl Grey tea.

With in a minute my master, Ciel Phantomhive, woke up before taking a sip of tea. 

"Did you cancel all of my meetings for today?" he asked me as I got him dressed for the day.

"Yes my lord," I replied to him as I took the left over tea back down to the kitchen to find it a mess. Seeing Mey-rin picking up broken pieces of tea cups. 

"Mey-rin how many times I have to tell you to be careful with the China," I said to her as she jumped a bit before looking at me.

"S-sorry Sebastian sir...," she says before finishing picking up the rest of the broken china. 

Time skip~

I stopped the carrage right next to a bookstore that is right across the Undertaker and a block away from the crime scene. I opened the passenger door and helped my master out of the carriage before walking over to where Jack the Ripper left the body of a young woman.

We walked up to the crime scene to find a young man with short red hair holding papers in a detective uniform.

He looks at my master and says," Sorry my boy I'm afraid a crime scene like this isn't a place for a young child, now why don't you just run along home."

"I'm here to see the victims body," Ciel said bluntly to him.

"The body," he exclaims and then says, "Your kidding me?"

The head officer walked over to talk my master and I.

Time skip~

After taking to the officer my master and I walked to the undertaker to ask some questions when I noticed a young women who looks like in her early twenties flipping a sign that says the book store is open before she grabbed a wet towel to clean her windows right after she put up her (h/c) hair into a bun.

I smirked before walking into the undertakers shop, remembering her from the news paper.

"Hehehhehe Welcome!" was what we heard at first before the undertaker came out of one of the coffins he makes for the dead.

"My lord it is so lovely to see you! Do I finely have the pleasure to fit you into one of me coffins today?," the undertaker asked my master as he sat down on a different coffin.

"No that isn't why I am here. I need to-" my master was interrupted by the undertaker.

"No need to say I am already aware!," he says with a big smile on his face.

"Please give it to me lord and I'll tell you anything!!!," he says while grinning and then said," Give me the extraordinary gift of laughter!"

"Just one joke and all the information is yours!," he says as he smile gets wider and wider.

I sighed," It can't be helped"

"Sebastian," Ciel says before I told him to wait outside.

Readers POV~

As I was cleaning the outside of the windows of my store. All of a sudden I heard someone laughing loudly. I turned around and figured someone is laughing inside the undertakers shop.

Well...at least someone is having a good laugh....

It had been at least two weeks since my family was murmured... I know it couldn't have been Jack the Ripper otherwise I would have a scare on the lower part of my stomach.....still why would someone want to rip out that part of all the victims body's?..... could it be because someone they know can't have a child or .....can it be themself?

Hmm....I wonder.....

Suddenly you noticed a couple of horses that were connected to a carriage got spooked by a mouse being chased by a cat and started to trot ahead.

"Sebastian!" someone yelled as I dropped my towel and started running to the carriage. I ran and ran until I was able to reach for the bridle.

I pulled it back and shouted," wow!" before the horses slowed down their pace before they stopped.

"I see you know how to stop horses when they are spoked and running away," I turned around to see a man with jet black hair and a smile on his face.

"My family and I use to go on trail rides before we had to sell our horses to help with the family bookstore," I told him as I gave him the rains (hope I spelled it right). 

"Where are my manners, I'm the Phantomhive's butler Sebastian and you are?" he said while his master got into the carrage.

"(Name)," I told him with a small smile on my face.

He smirked at me and then said," how would you like to work for my master and take care of the horses?"

"I-I don't know..... I have to think about it," I told him while blushing a light pink.

"I understand but if you do decide please do come to the manner," he told me as was getting ready to leave.

"Wait! If I do take your offer, where is the manner?" I asked him.

"Just follow the road at the northeast of London," he told me before he left.

Time skip after buying groceries from the market~

I walked to the bookstore only to find it in flames and already distroyed.

No.....all I have left is gone.........what am I going to do?........

Time skip after a long walk to the Phantomhive manor~

I knocked on the door before they opened, finding Sebastian looking at me with wide eyes.

"Is everything alright?," he asked as I shook my head.

"I just lost my bookstore...." I told him as he let me inside.

"I'm sorry my lady," he said to me as he took my groceries and was leading me to the kitchen.

"Can I get you something to eat?," he asked me as I shook my head again.

"No thank you, I ate right before I bought some groceries and started walking to my bookstore," I told him and then asked him.

"May I work here?"

He smiled," Of course but first you should rest before I show you the barn."

I nodded and followed him to the second floor as he lead me to the fifth door to the right.

"If you need anything my room is directly across the hall," he told me.

"Thank you," I said to him before he says goodnight and shuts the door.

I crawled into bed and went fast asleep, not even thinking about checking London to see if Jack the Ripper is at it again.
